HAS Preventive Care Services
Your Health Access Benefit is an innovative approach to health care that gives you more control over your health and medical costs. Our current preventive care program provides reimbursements for preventive medical services such as vision exams, dental cleanings, flu shots, and more.
We keep things simple for our members:
- Visit the provider of your choice as a cash pay patient.
- Submit a photo of your receipt for reimbursement.
- Receive up to $3,750 in reimbursements for preventive care per year (up from $3,250 in 2021).
Preventive Care Service Enhancements
Our goal is to help you and your family obtain top-quality health care. That’s why we are expanding our preventive care services! As of January 2022, HAS members will have access to even more benefits:
- Physical Health Benefit: We’re excited to expand our physical health benefit program. This reimburses you for up to $250 per year for health-related expenses, including gym memberships, fitness training, weight-loss coaching, nutritional counseling, and more. Now your New Year's resolutions can realistically include your healthiest goals yet!
- Mental Health Reimbursement: Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and we’re here to support you through it all. Our expansion means that you can have up to $500 of mental health expenses, such as counseling or therapy, reimbursed per year.
- In-House Preventive Reimbursement: Health Access Solutions is a better solution to health care — and that includes the reimbursement process. Previously, some of our members had to use a third-party app to manage their reimbursements. In 2022, our entire preventive care reimbursement program will be transitioning in-house. That means it’s simpler, faster, and easier for our members to request and receive reimbursements from us — and you’ll have fewer apps to track or logins to remember.
- Next-Day Deposits: Once our members request a reimbursement, we don’t want them to wait weeks for a check to show up in the mail. Now you have the option to receive your funds directly in your account as fast as one business day by using Zelle. It’s a swift, safe, and secure platform to collect your HAS preventive care reimbursements.
New Year, Enhanced Benefits
If your Health Access Benefit continues into the new year, these benefits will automatically be applied to your account when they go into effect in January. You don’t have to do anything to gain access. Just enjoy these enhanced benefits in the new year!
