We can't change your diagnosis, but we can help ease your financial burden. The Health Access Solutions Charitable Foundation has been created to help our members and their families pay for outstanding expenses due to a medical emergency, health crisis, or serious diagnosis. Here’s what you need to know about how it works and how you can apply.
How does it work?
- Application. First, complete an application for the Health Access Solutions Charitable Foundation that explains your circumstances, medical diagnosis or crisis, and related expenses.
- Application review. Your application will be reviewed and, depending on your financial need, you may be granted funds based on availability.
- Distribution of funds. Once approved, you — not your health care provider — will receive the funds.
Who is eligible?
Any Health Access Solutions member or family member with considerable medical expenses or a serious health diagnosis is eligible to apply.
For example, if you were involved in a car accident that left you in need of surgery, the Health Access Solutions Charitable Foundation could provide you with economic assistance to pay for medical bills, supplement lost income while you are unable to work, and contribute to recurring rehabilitation costs.
